ASSOCIATES AND AFFILIATES
Trainees who seek association and affiliation with the SCC are equipped to be SEW counselors so as to set up their own counseling practice. We also provide trainees with the opportunities for a continued association and affiliation with the SCC. Our specific objectives are as follows:
· to train individual warriors one at a time and occasionally in groups through teleconferencing
· to conduct as many internet workshops as possible, covering as many regions as possible;
· to conduct cases, encourage continued inquiry and investigation,
· to preserve and distribute findings through the published word.
Counseling Geared Toward Setting Captives Free
We aim higher than just a relief from demonic torment. We go to the root of demonic oppression, not only opening doorways but the goals of SEW (Spiritual Edification Workshop) are to permanently shut all doorways by causing a captive client to become aware of self, significant others, God and the enemy of his or her soul.
A Word from Pam on Certification
SEW is a very specialized, individualized training program. The certification is recognized solely by the Sheppard's Counseling Center. In other words, my goal is to seek help from those that I have trained myself by assigning them clients from my own caseload. Why? Because I anticipate that a day is coming when I am going to be overloaded.
Those who are certified become independent practitioners who are insured and self employed. I will continue to provide consultation and clinical supervision, where and when requested, so those trained have "professional backup."
It is a rather simple thing. Once trained, those who want to do this kind of work obtain a DBA--doing business as---either in their own name or a business name. They obtain insurance to counsel as a Christian counselor. They set up a website or they can have a page on my website. doing the exact same work that I do, all over the world. The certification is really for the client---it lets the client know that you have specialized training and that you have consultation services to support you.
Two years is somewhat of an estimate. How long it takes depends upon the individual. The more personal contact I have with a trainee, the better. For example, I have trained a few students for 6 months who I would have no problem making referrals to, primarily because they went through the practicum. For example, a trainee provided email counseling for 6 months to an African in bondage to witchcraft . The trainee, the client and myself decided on a date and time for deliverance. The client called me up from Africa, and I cast the demon from him over the telephone. One of the easiest deliverances I have ever been involved in. That client has remained free for four years or more, primarily because of the excellent work the trainee provided to him. .
