CHRISTIAN SERVICE
I joined a traditional African American denomination in September 1979. I entered ministry and received a license to preach on October 25, 1981. A bishop ordained me and conferred upon me the office of elder, pastor and evangelist. I was appointed to two of the denominations church, one in Norwich NY and one in Saratoga NY. I started a mission (a new congregation) in October, 1996 in Troy NY
. During my church service, I preached an average of twice a week, more or less and all other duties related to pastoring and ministry. In "Come Out of Her, God's People," an autobiographical account of 30 years of ministry is built into the framework of the book.
I also conducted prison ministry for 8 years at Mt. McGregor Correctional Facility---1994 to 2002, preaching two Sundays a month and Teaching bible study once a week.
From time to time since 1983, I functioned in a field in Christiandom which is known as "deliverance ministry." Desiring to bring balance and accountability into the field, I developed a counseling model called "deliverance counseling."
