DAMAGED SHEEP NEED TO BE RESTORED
Without a doubt, emotional abuse within the churches is commonplace and takes many forms. Churchgoers caught in the cycle of emotional/spiritual abuse need healing and restoration. Though much of the abuse is un- intentional, most of it is due to the fact that we are close to the end of the church age and fallen angels have almost completely taken over the organized church, from her pulpits to her pews. Unfortunately, even when a church does sincerely reach out, the system is such that it cannot heal those whom She Herself has damaged.
The SCC online is a safe place, doing what Jesus commands: feeding and tending His sheep. Sheppard's Counseling Center is at the front lines when it comes to addressing emotional abuse by providing the support that will heal and restore.
A minister of 29 years and ordained in a denominational church , Pam Sheppard was appointed to pastor 2 of its churches. She is also the founder of a charismatic, deliverance church and ministry. Therefore, our mentoring program is led by one who has "been there and done that!"
A Need for an Alternative to "CHURCH. WE SEEK MATURE CHRISTIANS TO SERVE AS MENTORS.
The time is coming when scores of those who have been spiritually abused both by and within the organized church are going to "run for cover" --- sheep without a pastor. Therefore, it is our goal to train as many Christian workers as possible who will be able to feed and tend the remnant sheep by telephone as we do.
An important part of mentoring involves the mentee's personal spiritual growth, and or deliverance and recovery. Those who have a call also have a strong desire to have a platform. Waiting on the Lord's timing can seem endless. However, as we wait, the Lord requires a very deep allegiance to the truth. He invariably will set up circumstances that will cause us to bow down to correction which cuts and humbles, as readily as we accept that which is agreeable. Since demons take advantage of the flesh to mobilize their own agenda, knowing ourselves better than the demons know us is a primary step to "trying the spirits." We must try our own spirits to understand the nature of our own particular needs of the flesh. The truth received will crush that need or in other words, "crucify our flesh.!" We do not ask for tithes primarily because our founder believes that this teaching is un-biblical. We simply as for a registration fee of only $50 a month for everyone, regardless of income. You will receive un-limited emails, telephone guidance and support. You will also have your own personal mentor who will respond to each and every one of your questions within 48 hours, much more contact with the help that you need than you will ever have in any organized church.
