A WORD FROM THE FOUNDER OF SCC: Pam Sheppard
As you review the list of the primary issues that the SCC addresses in counseling, you will observe "an occult connection.
A former new age occult practitioner, I admit that in the first two decades of being born again, I had more spiritual experiences than I can now count or even remember. Nevertheless, one gets truly "spiritual" when one can face the truth without flinching. Moreover, what I have learned is that when truth explodes upon the mind, it is not an agreeable experience, nor is it easy to disbelieve absolutely, what we have consistently believed so thoroughly. Once I committed myself to truth, I find that I no longer depend on signs or supernatural experiences. The knowledge and wisdom received in the last 3 years, and even more so, the last 3 months have been astounding.
So be forwarned. When your OWN eyes have finally been opened, look out!!! Being deceived can be taken as a personal insult when we perceive that we have been duped: bamboozled, run a muck, gone astray, hoodwinked, made a fool of. Don't even go there in your thoughts about all of that hard earned money we put into the hands of religious demons. Lord, Help!!!! In my case, truth has been so liberating that it has not mattered that it took 30 years to find.
Your journey need not be so long. You can learn in 30 days what it took me 3 years to discover---even 3 years for my 30!
SPECIAL INTERESTS AND SKILLS
I specialize in bondages of all kinds. I have a particular interest in religiosity because its influence is pervasive. My third book entitled "Faces of the Religious Demon: Freedom Through Deliverance Counseling,"presents case studies that demonstrate how religiosity can lead to self destruction, suicide ideation, obsessive compulsive disorder, various forms of what is known as schizophrenia, ie. delusions, hearing voices, and the like. I also have a background working with the addictions, sexuality, and spiritual abuse connected to cults and various religious groups.
Every case requires a degree of study and research, more or less. I commit myself to take on almost every case, as long as the client is coherent and cooperative. Since the Holy Spirit is my guide and my rear guard, I find that a cooperative client can be set free, and so I will take on challenges as I walk by faith. I prefer working with adults, ages 18-80 "one on one" by telephone. I am also skilled in group counseling. I specialize in training and mentoring other Christian counselors, both professional and laity in the SEW Program. Primary specialities include but are not limited to:
